Adobong Puso ng Saging Adobong Puso ng Saging Ingredients 5 cups Puso ng saging , sliced 1/3 cup vinegar and / or tamarind powder, 1/4 cup soy suave 1 mefiumvonion ,sliced 6 cloves garlic ,chopped 1 cup ground pork, optional Salt and pepper Oil 1-2 cups water , Procedure  1. Wash and clean Puso ng saging. Use cream colored inside and not red outer covering. 2. Slice into strips about 1-2 inches long and soak in water. 3. In a wok ,saute garlic and onions .Add ground pork . 4. Add Puso ng saging and water enough to boil and cook the banana blossoms. 5. After boiling ,add vinegar / tamarind mix and soy sauce .Simmer 6. Season with salt and pepper . 7. Finally ,drizzle with oil and stir fry. 8. Serve.
Escabeche (Sweet and Sour Fish) Ingredients 2 -3 lbs  red snapper , whole fish 4 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 tablespoon  salt 1 ⁄ 4 teaspoon  ground pepper 2 tablespoons  soy sauce 1 ⁄ 2 cup  apple cider vinegar  or  1 ⁄ 2  cup white vinegar 1 ⁄ 4 water 1 ⁄ 2 cup  brown sugar 1 large chopped  onion 6 tablespoons minced  garlic 1 ⁄ 2 cup  ginger , julienned 1 ⁄ 2 cup  carrot , julienned 1 ⁄ 2 cup  red bell pepper 1 ⁄ 2 cup  scallion , julienned (spring onions) 1 tablespoon sifted  flour Directions Clean the fish and slit it open. Let it stand for few minutes and drain well. Sprinkle fish with 1 tbsp salt. In a medium skillet, heat the oil and fry the fish until brown. Remove the fish from the pan and set aside.
